All eligible Accredited Program graduating seniors and their families are invited to attend the A Beka Academy graduation activities and ceremony held on the beautiful campus of Pensacola Christian College. Eligible students will receive additional information in the spring.

To participate, eligible students must
  • Have a grade 12 begin date on or before November 28, 2016.
  • Complete an online petition to march.
  • Make sure that all first through third grading period completed progress reports with required work are in the A Beka Academy Office by April 1.

Graduating seniors participating in the A Beka Academy graduation ceremony are eligible to receive academic awards.

President’s Award

  • At least 3.5 unweighted GPA
  • Ranking of 85th percentile or above on a nationally recognized standardized test, such as the ACT or SAT

Test scores must be received in the A Beka Academy office no later than May 1 for consideration.

Academic Achievement Award

  • 4.0 unweighted GPA
  • All A’s for each course counting for high school credit

Academic Honors Award

  • 4.0 unweighted GPA
  • All A’s for each course counting for high school credit
  • Must have completed all available honors courses in the A Beka Academy accredited program.

Additional information regarding fees, dates, etc., will be sent to graduating seniors.

  • Students must complete a total of 24 credits (minimum of four credits with A Beka Academy in grade 12).
  • Class rank is based on a weighted GPA scale with those others who graduate by May 31 of their current school year.
  • College-bound students are required to take the ACT or SAT. Accredited students use high school code 101388.

Diplomas are issued to graduating seniors when graduation requirements have been met.

  • All coursework must be completed.
  • All required credits must be completed.
  • All lessons, whether streaming or DVD, must have been viewed.
  • If applicable, all DVDs must have been returned.

2016 Graduation Highlights

Last May, over 450 A Beka Academy seniors and their families celebrated at the Commencement Exercises on the campus of Pensacola Christian College.

Festivities began on Friday afternoon with a Welcome Meeting, campus tours, the Sports Center Spectacular, and a Pensacola Christian Academy concert. On Saturday, the graduates received their diplomas at a special Commencement ceremony. Mike Smith, a favorite video teacher, delivered the challenge to the senior class.
