Accredited Option

For Master Video Schools

As a distance-learning provider, A Beka Academy is accredited by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), a division of AdvancED. Since your school is using this quality distance-learning program, your K5–12 students can enroll in an Accredited Enrollment Program to receive the benefits of an accredited transcript and diploma from A Beka Academy.

A Beka Academy offers the Accredited Enrollment Plan as an additional service (K5-12 only). Your school continues to offer A Beka Academy Video courses, and students remain enrolled and pay tuition in your Video school. You simply send us the graded work and progress reports for each Video student who chooses to enroll in the accredited program. Individual student enrollment does not imply accreditation of any Video school, however, A Beka Academy can validate individual student work and provide accredited services to students in your school.

Simply enroll students in the program within one month after the first day of school or the beginning of the second semester. We will provide all the necessary materials for your accredited enrollments. (Click here to download enrollment agreement.)

An annual per-student fee of $200 will be assessed for each participating student. Students will be graded according to the standard A Beka Academy grade code and must be a full-time student with A Beka Academy.

For Each Accredited Student A Beka Academy will provide . . .

  • a developed plan of study for each high school student to meet the requirements for an accredited diploma
  • progress reports to be completed and mailed back to A Beka Academy
  • report cards at the end of each grading period
  • high school diploma following completion of the 24-credit graduation requirements
  • an official accredited transcript sent upon request
  • assessment and validation of student work.

Your School Should . . .

  • complete an Accredited Enrollment Agreement form for each participating student
  • include a payment of $200 per student plus $15 diploma fee for graduating seniors
  • send transcripts to A Beka Academy showing previous school work for each student enrolling
  • grade student work and record on progress reports to be mailed to A Beka Academy

A Beka Academy is accredited by the following organizations:

FACCS The Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) provides national recognition through the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA); and in the state of Florida through the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS). In keeping with accreditation standards, video teachers undergo certification through FACCS.
SACS CASI The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) is an accreditation division of AdvancED and is one of only six agencies that accredit both public and nonpublic educational institutions.
